Eddie Martinez, Peel Sessions, 2008, mixed media on canvas, 60 x 48 inches, image from ZieherSmith.We went to the opening for Eddie Martinez show at ZieherSmith earlier, but it was so crowded, I had a hard time moving around the space. I wasn’t overwhelmed by the show, although I liked some details in the paintings. These two portraits were my favorites.Also: A post-Chelsea-gallery-tour-snack at Pop Burger ALWAYS hits the spot!
